Sharon Turner Camp is a life-long resident of Bartow County Georgia, and a graduate of Reinhardt College, and West Georgia College. She has been a potter for almost forty years and her work has been influenced by Bill Gordy, Sue Jackson, Curtis Chapman, Carmon Culvert, as well as the history and work of folk potters throughout the South. She prefers to work with stoneware clays, mixes her own glazes, and fires all of her work at cone 10 for maximum durability.
